IKM Consultants AS seeks a Multidiscipline Engineer in Stord with offshore work exposure. The role covers developing detailed work orders, estimating man-hours, reading and interpreting P&IDs and ISO drawings, and ensuring safety/HSSE compliance throughout planning and execution.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed work orders, including man-hour estimates, drawings, procedures, and material lists.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, planning, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure all prerequisites are met.
• Review safety aspects of planned work, identify risks, and ensure compliance with HSSE requirements.
• Identify opportunities to optimize work preparation processes and contribute to lessons learned.

Required expertise

• Technical education (vocational or engineering degree) with a relevant trade certificate or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the oil & gas industry or a related field, preferably within construction or commissioning.
• Familiarity with mechanical completion (MC) and commissioning processes, along with digital tools (e.g., PIMS).
• Strong understanding of technical drawings (P&IDs, ISO) and the ability to interpret technical documentation.

Language: Norwegian and English

Location: Stord, with offshore work required

Work schedule: Full-time, regular work week with some remote work options
