  • Address construction, manufacturing, sustainability and cost constraints in close collaboration with the Product Developers.
  • Create, present and revise concepts and design sketches based on the approved product and design briefs.
  • Create design documents for your styles (Adobe Illustrator files, technical sketches, 2D drawings, 3D files, renders, material references).
  • Build 3D models and/or renders for visualization of the design intent, using AI or 3D CAD, where the project requires it.
  • Brief material and trim directions to the Material & CSR Manager, and support the development of new fabrics and trims.
  • Support the seasonal color process with trend input, color sketching and per-style color proposals for approval by the Head of Design.
  • Review every sample round together with a Product Developer, taking into account design, quality and cost.
  • Research emerging trends in design, technology, materials, constructions and communities, and present your findings into the seasonal briefing process.
  • Apply Db's design guidelines and Ecodesign requirements to all design work, and flag conflicts between design intent and ESG or compliance requirements early.
