Job summary

NES Fircroft in Stavanger seeks a Senior/Principal Engineer to lead process engineering for offshore oil & gas projects. You will perform simulations, design piping and equipment, and prepare P&ID and design reports within multi-disciplinary teams.

The role requires 5+ years in process engineering, experience with EPCIC/FEED, and proficiency in HYSYS/UNISIM/FlareNet; Norwegian and English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry or process engineering (Master or Bachelor).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in process engineering within Oil & Gas in the NCS.
• Experience with EPCIC, FEED and early study projects.
• Experience with process simulation tools such as HYSYS, UNISIM and/or Flarenet.
• Experience and knowledge of offshore process and utility systems and process control.
• Knowledge of regulations and standards (NORSOK, PSA, API, etc.).
• Simulation competence (HYSYS, UniSim).
• Good communication skills in Norwegian and English; cooperative working attitude; systematic and accurate; meet deadlines and quality requirements.

Location: Stavanger

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Perform and evaluate process simulations
• Preliminary and detail process design
• Calculation and dimensioning of piping, valves and process equipment
• Prepare P&ID, line lists and design reports
• Project work in multi discipline teams
• Active participation in HAZOP, design reviews etc.
