Job summary

Head Energy Consulting AS is seeking a Process Engineer to deliver high-quality process drawings and support multi-disciplinary teams in an engineering project environment. The role requires collaboration with Process and Design departments and adherence to schedules, quality standards, and budgets.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years as a Process Designer in oil & gas or related industries, with strong AVEVA Diagram/BricsCAD skills and proficiency in P&ID tools.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with P&ID tools for PFDs, P&IDs and related docs.
• Strong AVEVA Diagram and BricsCAD proficiency.
• Understanding of data management and revision control.
• Ability to troubleshoot software issues with IT teams.
• Experience in multidisciplinary engineering teams in oil & gas or energy.
• Minimum 3 years as a Process Designer in relevant sectors.

Job Description

• Deliver process drawings with a high level of quality and within agreed schedules.
• Ensure effective collaboration between the Process and Design departments.
• Maintain quality, schedule, and budget objectives for assigned work.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of digital engineering workflows.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, standards, and project requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with P&ID software tools such as AVEVA Diagram, SP P&ID, AutoCAD, and similar applications for the preparation and maintenance of PFDs, P&IDs, UFDs, and related process documentation.
• Strong proficiency in AVEVA Diagram and BricsCAD.
• Understanding of engineering data management principles and revision control processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot software issues and coordinate with system administrators to resolve them.
• Familiarity with project templates, title blocks, standards, and document management workflows.
• Understanding of data integration between AVEVA Diagram, AVEVA Engineering, and AVEVA E3D.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and drafting practices.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Process Designer within oil & gas, energy, or industrial projects.
• Experience in preparation and maintenance of process drawings and associated databases.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical trade certification (fagbrev) or a Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred
