The University of Oslo invites applications for a 100% three-year Postdoctoral Research Fellow position in tumor cell biology within the Collas Lab at the Department of Molecular Medicine. The project, funded by the Norwegian Cancer Society, aims to explore microproteins as potential therapies in advanced prostate cancer using cancer cell lines and PDX mouse models.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree – PhD or equivalent required.
• Strong knowledge of cancer cell biology.
• Experience with tumor biology and cell culture/PDX models.
• Fluent English (oral and written).

Responsabilités

• Design and execute PDX prostate cancer studies evaluating microprotein modulation and peptide therapy.
• Design and perform cellular assays to test microprotein function and transcription factor modulation.
• Maintain accurate electronic lab records and contribute to data analysis.
• Present results at group meetings and prepare manuscripts for publication.
