Job summary

University of Oslo invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow to explore how microproteins regulate RUNX2 in prostate cancer using cell lines and PDX models. The project involves in vivo setups and collaboration with Oslo University Hospital and external partners.

The position aims to develop a research profile and competencies for an Associate Professor role, with a career plan and access to career guidance throughout the term.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and executing PDX studies evaluating microprotein modulation.
• Ability to perform cellular assays to test microprotein function and transcription factor modulation.
• Experience presenting results and preparing manuscripts for publication.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute PDX prostate cancer studies evaluating microprotein modulation and peptide therapy.
• Design and perform cellular assays to test microprotein function and transcription factor modulation.
• Maintain accurate electronic lab records and contribute to data analysis and interpretation.
• Present results at group meetings and scientific platforms and prepare manuscripts for publication.
