Job summary

UiO invites applications for a 3-year Postdoctoral Fellowship in epigenetics and obesity research at CORA, affiliated with Yvonne Böttcher's group at EpiGen, Department of Clinical Molecular Biology, Institute of Clinical Medicine.

The project investigates epigenetic memory of obesity, weight regain, sequencing and multi-omics in human adipose tissue, with close clinical collaborations in Norway and abroad.

Qualifications

• A Norwegian doctoral degree or equivalent; if not yet received, submission of the thesis is required

Responsibilities

• Carry out high-quality scientific research
• Publish results in high-impact, peer-reviewed journals
• Apply for research funding
• Disseminate research at national and international meetings and conferences
• Co-mentoring of PhD and mentoring of master students
