Job summary

NTNU’s Department of Computer Science invites applications for a PhD position within Information Systems research. The PhD candidate will pursue in-depth empirical studies on digital transformation, affiliated with IDI's Applied Information Technology group, and aims to complete a doctoral degree during the four-year appointment.

Qualifications

• Strong background in qualitative methods and theory.
• Excellent written and oral English skills.
• Familiarity with sociotechnical perspectives and digital transformation.

Responsibilities

• Complete the doctoral education and obtain the doctorate.
• Plan and conduct empirical research in organizations under supervision.
• Lead writing of research papers under supervision.
• Conform to the Faculty's PhD training program.
• Engage with the local research group and contribute to its work.
