Job summary

NTNU invites applications for one PhD position within Information Systems research at the Department of Computer Science (IDI). As a PhD candidate you will pursue doctoral studies while gaining research experience in digital transformation and digital workplace topics.

You will conduct in-depth empirical investigations using qualitative methods and be mentored by the AIT group leader. The position includes a 4-year contract with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in information systems, management, organization theory, sociology, or science and technology studies with emphasis on digitalization.
• Strong academic background with a good grade point average or equivalent.
• Admission to the PhD programme within NTNU or demonstrated equivalence to pursue doctoral studies.

Responsibilities

• Complete the doctoral education until obtaining a doctorate.
• Plan and conduct empirical research in organizations under supervision.
• Take lead in writing research papers under supervision.
• Comply with the PhD training program of the Faculty.
• Be part of and contribute to the local research group.
