Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team across Hampton Roads. Per diem positions with competitive pay and flexible scheduling are available.

Active LPN license and at least 1 year of facility-based experience are required, along with current BLS/CPR and a recent PPD test. Benefit from rapid pay options and a hiring bonus after two shifts to start.

Qualifications

• Active LPN licence (practical nurse) in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based nursing experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD test within the last year.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.

Requirements
