Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA seeks experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team serving Hampton Roads. Compensation is $37.00-$39.00 per hour with same-day or next-day pay and rapid pay options.

We offer per diem roles with local staffing coordinators available 5 AM-11:30 PM, weekly pay, flexible scheduling, and the potential for full-time hours. Active LPN license and at least one year of facility experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license is required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR.
• PPD within the last year.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
