Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team throughout Hampton Roads. This per diem role offers flexibility with full-time hours available and rapid pay options.

You will provide nursing care, administer medications, document patient information, and coordinate with the care team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. Individuals with an active LPN license and BLS/CPR are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD test within the last year.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.

Requirements

• Active LPN license
