Job summary

Crunched, a fast-growing AI startup backed by Y Combinator, is hiring an audit domain expert to lead the automation of audit workflows in Oslo. You will translate how great auditors work into AI-enabled processes, collaborating with tech and external customers, and build real audit workflows on-site.

You will own the development of Crunched's largest new focus area, have strong Excel skills, and thrive with responsibility and ownership.

Qualifications

• Solid audit experience from a recognised firm.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort with data.
• Curiosity about AI and its application to audit.
• Exposure to AI, automation or product work within audit is a plus.
• Exceptional attention to detail and structured thinking.

Responsibilities

• Translate how auditors actually work into AI-enabled systems (reconciliations, sampling, testing, working papers, documentation).
• Build bespoke workflows with customers on-site and in their processes.
• Collaborate with the tech team to convert field insights into shipped product.
• Design evaluations and stress-test outputs against real audit standards.
• Set the quality bar for what good automated audit work means.
