Job summary

NES Fircroft in Oslo seeks a Lead Operations Engineer (LV) to own and operate low‑voltage infrastructure in a mission‑critical data centre environment. You will lead preventive maintenance, incident response and ensure safety, compliance and uptime across distribution boards, switchgear and UPS systems.

You’ll act as technical authority for LV systems, coordinate contractors, mentor the team and drive documentation and control improvements in a fast‑growing programme.

Qualifications

• Degree or technical qualification in electrical engineering.
• Strong background in LV operations and maintenance.
• 7–12 years’ experience in electrical infrastructure environments.
• Essential: proven experience in data centres or mission‑critical facilities.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety and compliance.
• Strong communicator with leadership capability.

Responsibilities

• Owning LV infrastructure: distribution boards, switchgear, UPS systems.

We’re supporting a major hyperscale data centre programme in Norway and are looking for an experienced Lead Operations Engineer (LV) to join a high‑performance operations team. This role is central to maintaining safe, compliant and highly reliable low‑voltage electrical systems across a mission‑critical environment.

You’ll act as the technical authority for LV systems, oversee maintenance and operations, lead incident response, and ensure the electrical infrastructure supporting continuous data centre uptime is always available.
