Job summary

g2 Recruitment is seeking experienced HV/LV Electricians to join a major data centre project in Norway on a long-term contract.

The role covers installation, testing and commissioning of HV/LV systems on the data centre site, with a 4-on/12-hour shift rotation and immediate start.

You will work within a leading delivery team, ensuring safety and quality while adhering to project specifications and client requirements throughout the assignment.

Qualifications

• HV/LV electrician with proven field experience.
• Experience on data centre or large-scale projects preferred.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Strong commitment to health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, test and commission HV/LV electrical systems.
• Install cables, terminations and containment.
• Install switchgear and distribution equipment.
• Interpret technical drawings and project specs.
• Support commissioning and handover activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements.

HV/LV Electrician - Data Centre Project - Norway

We are urgently seeking experienced HV/LV Electricians to join a major data centre project in Norway.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile critical infrastructure project with a long-term contract and a structured rotation.

HV/LV Electrician

Location : Norway

Contract Length : 12-Month Contract

Rotation

• 4 days on-site
• 12 hour shifts
• 3 days off

Responsibilities

• Installation, testing and commissioning of HV and LV electrical systems
• Cable installation, termination and containment works
• Switchgear and distribution equipment installation
• Working on mission-critical data centre infrastructure
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics
• Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with project specifications and health & safety requirements
• Supporting commissioning and handover activities

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HV/LV Electrician
• Previous experience on data centre, industrial, energy or large-scale infrastructure projects preferred
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation
• Strong commitment to health and safety standards
• Valid electrical qualifications/certifications
• Must be eligible to work as a freelancer/contractor within Europe
• Ability to mobilise quickly
