Job summary

DNV is seeking an Operational Excellence Specialist to advance the adoption of our OE framework across the Digital and Data Solutions unit. You will work with software, product, customer success and operations leaders to identify improvement opportunities and embed a culture of continuous improvement.

The role offers exposure to lean practices, problem solving, and international travel as needed, with a focus on delivering measurable efficiency, quality and customer value in a fast-moving

Qualifications

• Practical experience in Operational Excellence, Lean, Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, Agile or DevOps.
• Proven experience improving processes with measurable results.
• Experience facilitating cross-functional workshops and improvement initiatives.
• Experience coaching teams in new ways of working.
• Experience in digital/software/knowledge-based environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with governance frameworks and improvement programs.
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and sustain the Operational Excellence framework across DDS.
• Identify and implement improvement opportunities with leaders.
• Facilitate structured problem-solving workshops.
• Apply Lean, standard work, visual management, and root-cause analysis.
• Support improvement pilots driving efficiency and quality.
• Coach managers and teams in OE practices.
• Ensure alignment with global OE standards and roadmaps.
• Track improvement activities and realize benefits.
• Promote cross-functional collaboration across DDS.
• Deliver OE training sessions and awareness activities.
• Escalate risks and blockers in a structured way.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
• Occasional international travel may be required.
