Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding Norway is seeking a structured QHSE & Process Improvement Specialist to strengthen quality, compliance, and operational excellence. You will drive audits, maintain the Integrated Management System, and implement improvement initiatives across the organization.

Role requires collaborating with stakeholders, tracking actions, and reporting on performance. Fluency in Norwegian and English, plus relevant quality education, are key assets for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of findings.
  • Serve as main contact for auditors and support units through audit lifecycle.
  • Maintain IMS documentation and monitor QHSE performance and KPIs.
  • Support environmental and GoGreen initiatives and drive standardization across units.
  • Promote QHSE awareness through training and effective communication.

At DHL Global Forwarding Norway, we're looking for a structured and proactive QHSE & Process Improvement Specialist who wants to make a real impact. In this key role, you will help shape how we work by driving quality, compliance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across the organization.

You will help ensure that our management systems, processes, and operations comply with applicable legal, customer, and ISO requirements. As a trusted coordinator and improvement driver, you will lead internal and external audits, maintain process documentation, and support the implementation of improvement initiatives through our First Choice methodology. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about creating structure, enhancing performance, and fostering a culture of quality, compliance, safety, and continuous improvement within one of the world's leading logistics companies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and support internal audits, external certification audits, customer audits, supplier audits, and legal/regulatory compliance audits.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for auditors and support business units throughout the audit lifecycle.
  • Track audit findings, nonconformities, corrective actions, and improvement opportunities to ensure timely closure.
  • Support compliance with ISO standards, company policies, customer requirements, and applicable legislation.
  • Maintain and continuously improve the Integrated Management System (IMS) and process documentation.
  • Monitor and report QHSE performance, KPIs, compliance and continuous improvement metrics.
  • Support environmental and sustainability initiatives, including GoGreen-related activities and reporting.
  • Drive process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives across business units.
  • Promote awareness and understanding of QHSE requirements through training, communication, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Support management reviews and follow-up activities related to quality, health & safety, environmental, and operational performance.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to share best practices and improve operational effectiveness.
Qualifications
  • Experience within Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Operational Excellence, Process Improvement, Compliance.
  • Good understanding of management systems and relevant ISO standards, particularly ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and/or ISO 45001.
  • Experience coordinating audits, compliance activities, or risk assessments.
  • Experience coordinating continuous improvement projects with root cause analysis, definition of corrective actions, process mapping, and performance measurement.
  • Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work.
  • Excellent communication skills in Norwegian and English.
  • Experience from logistics, transportation, supply chain, or other operational environments is an advantage.
  • Relevant education within quality management, HSE, engineering, business administration, logistics, or a related field is an advantage.
  • Valid work permit for Norway is required.
