Job summary

Future Engineering Recruitment Ltd in Skien, Norway, seeks an EHS Manager to lead environmental, health and safety performance across a major construction programme on site.

You will work closely with project leadership, subcontractors and the client to drive robust EHS plans, oversee risk assessments and RAMS, review permits and safe systems of work, and build a culture of accountability from earthworks through commissioning.

Qualifications

• Strong EHS management experience on major construction or engineering projects.
• Experience overseeing high-risk civil, structural or MEP activities.
• NEBOSH qualification or an internationally recognised equivalent.
• Norwegian or EU/EEA working rights.
• Willingness to relocate and work permanently on site in Skien.

Responsibilities

• Leading environmental, health and safety performance across the project.
• Developing and implementing project EHS plans, procedures and standards.
• Coordinating safety across earthworks, blasting, civils, structures, lifting and MEP activities.
• Reviewing RAMS, risk assessments, permits and safe systems of work.
