Job summary

Halliburton Energy Services is seeking an Automation/Instrument Technician for the Instrument/Electrical department’s Internal Equipment Maintenance. The role will mainly be offshore with 4-week on/off rotations after initial training, with some onshore duties as required.

Responsibilities include service, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair of Halliburton equipment and control systems, and ensuring all documentation and certifications are current.

Qualifications

• Must hold a certificate as Electrician or related field for Electronics, Instruments or Electrical.
• Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
• Experience with maintenance, instrumentation or electrical systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and maintenance of offshore cementing and instrumentation equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair control systems and measuring equipment offshore.
• Calibrate, test and document equipment performances.
• Ensure documentation and certifications are up to date.
• Participate in onshore activities at Halliburton facilities as required.
• Promote safety, trust and collaboration in daily work.
