Job summary

Odfjell Drilling AS is seeking skilled offshore Electricians to join our Competence Pool. You will support offshore operations by providing qualified personnel to our rig fleet and work across units to ensure safe, efficient operations.

Ideal candidates hold electro-automation certification, an ETO certificate, and maritime electrical experience with high-voltage competence. Offshore/maritime background and ability to work in challenging environments are essential.

Qualifications

• Formal education per international offshore mobile unit regulations.
• Certification as electro-automation technician or ship electrician with maritime module.
• ETO Certificate required.
• High-voltage competence on mobile offshore units (above 1000 VAC).
• Experience in hazardous area electrical installations (Ex) and related rules.
• Competence assessments and offshore/maritime experience documented.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment on the unit.
• Ensure electrical systems comply with regulations and safety procedures.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary maintenance activities.
• Maintain rig electrical safety procedures and tools handling.
• Install new electrical equipment and connect to rig systems.
• Record and report documentation for onboard electrical systems and equipment.
• Execute planned/preventative maintenance per the maintenance program.
• Act as onboard operational leader for electrical installations as required.
