Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Field Engineer II - WLE Intervention to lead offshore wireline logging and well intervention operations. You will prepare, execute, maintain, and improve logging activities while supporting customers and ensuring high service standards.

Responsibilities include coaching peers, ensuring tool readiness, and maintaining strict safety and quality controls in challenging offshore environments. Offshore rotational schedule and diverse training opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience in Well Intervention operations, preferably offshore wireline.
• Hands-on experience with cased hole logging tools and tractor conveyance systems.
• Local certifications, offshore qualifications, and medical clearances as applicable.
• Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency across logging and well intervention service lines with emphasis on quality and safety.
• Coach and mentor junior engineers and field personnel.
• Participate in training programs to enhance technical competency.
• Prepare and maintain equipment for logging and intervention operations.
• Ensure compliance with all operational documents and procedures.
• Liaise with customer representatives for successful operation execution and communication.
• Report non-conformities and support corrective actions.
• Maintain and test tools/equipment per procedures.
• Manage packing, labeling, shipment preparation, and reporting activities.
