Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Field Engineer II - WLE Intervention in Stavanger, Norway. You will lead offshore wireline logging and intervention operations, ensuring safety, quality, and reliability. The role involves equipment preparation, execution, and continuous improvement while supporting customers.

The position requires an engineering degree, offshore qualifications, and strong teamwork skills, with potential offshore rotational schedules and opportunities to work onshore as needed.

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience in Well Intervention operations, preferably offshore wireline environments.
• Hands-on experience with cased hole logging tools, tractor conveyance systems, and related PMA services.
• Hold all required local certifications, offshore qualifications, and medical clearances as applicable.
• Demonstrate strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrating proficiency across logging and well intervention service lines while maintaining service quality and operational excellence.
• Assisting in coaching, mentoring, and development of junior engineers and field personnel.
• Participating in training programs to enhance technical competency.
• Preparing, controlling, and maintaining equipment for logging and intervention operations.
• Liaising with customer representatives to ensure successful execution and effective communication.
• Executing safe and efficient logging and well intervention operations per procedures and HSE requirements.
• Recording and reporting non-conformities and supporting corrective actions.
