Job summary

Head Energy is seeking an experienced EICT Engineer with a strong Instrumentation & Control background for an offshore project. The role emphasizes engineering activities, coordination, and supplier follow-up, with close collaboration between Oslo offices and the shipyard in China.

The candidate should have at least 5 years of offshore experience, a relevant engineering degree, and willingness to travel internationally. English and Norwegian language skills are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Strong instrumentation and control systems background.
• Experience with engineering coordination, supplier follow-up, and technical documentation.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Perform and coordinate instrumentation and control engineering activities.
• Follow up deliverables from suppliers, subcontractors, and CIMC engineering.
• Review technical documentation, specifications, drawings, and deliverables.
• Coordinate technical interfaces between engineering disciplines, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
• Support technical clarifications and resolve engineering-related issues throughout project execution.
• Act as a technical link between the Oslo engineering office and the site team in China.
• Participate in periodic visits to the shipyard to facilitate coordination.
• Contribute across EICT disciplines, including telecom-related activities where relevant.
