Job summary

Head Energy is seeking an experienced EICT Engineer with a strong background in Instrumentation & Control for an offshore project. The role focuses on engineering activities, technical coordination, and supplier follow-up, working with the Oslo team and shipyard in China.

The candidate will engage in multi-disciplinary technical work, liaise with external contractors, and travel as needed, supporting across EICT disciplines and telecom-related activities where relevant.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience, preferably offshore.
• Solid technical background in instrumentation and control systems.
• Engineering degree or equivalent technical background.

Responsibilities

• Perform and coordinate engineering activities related to instrumentation and control systems.
• Follow up engineering deliverables from suppliers, subcontractors, and CIMC engineering.
• Review technical documentation, specifications, drawings, and engineering deliverables.
• Coordinate technical interfaces between engineering disciplines, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
• Support technical clarifications and resolve engineering-related issues throughout project execution.
• Act as a technical link between the Oslo engineering office and the site team in China.
• Participate in periodic visits to the shipyard to facilitate efficient engineering follow-up and coordination.
• Contribute across EICT disciplines when required, including telecom-related activities where relevant.
