Job summary

Akkodis Norway AS seeks an experienced OCTG Planner to support drilling and well operations onshore at Florø. You will coordinate planning cycles, manage RFPs and purchase requisitions, and ensure material readiness with suppliers and the JOS logistics team.

The role requires a degree in SCM/Logistics/Finance/Economics and at least 5 years in contracting, with fluency in English and Norwegian. Onshore work location with competitive conditions.

Qualifications

• Prepare and share RFP templates, organize quality control meetings.
• Send finalized RFPs to suppliers and manage feedback.
• Generate purchase requisitions based on approved RFPs.
• Monitor production progress and follow up with suppliers.
• Track material readiness with suppliers and JOS logistics.
• Oversee development and maintenance of the planning tool.
• Interface with PSR Wells, Wells engineers, PFMs, logistics, and suppliers.
• Schedule and facilitate meetings for production and RFP follow-ups throughout the year.

For one of our client, we need a skilled OCTG Planner (Oil Country Tubular Goods Planner)

Description about task and responsibilities

Coordinate planning schedules with all involved stakeholders, ensuring adherence to deadlines and planning cycles.

Register new demand entries in the Excel control spreadsheet for tracking and visibility.

Prepare Request for Production (RFP): complete the template, share internally, and organize quality control meetings.

Send the finalized RFP to the supplier via email.

Manage RFP processing: gather supplier feedback and implement necessary changes.

Confirm RFP acceptance and ensure smooth internal and external information flow.

Generate purchase requisitions based on approved RFPs.

Monitor production progress and conduct regular follow-up meetings with suppliers.

Track readiness of materials for delivery in coordination with suppliers and the JOS logistics team.

Oversee the development and maintenance of the planning tool.

Interface with PSR Wells, Wells engineers, PFMs, logistics team, and relevant suppliers.

Schedule and facilitate meetings with internal and external stakeholders throughout the year for production and RFP follow-ups.

Competence Requirements

Bachelor/master’s degree in supply chain management (SCM), logistics, finance or economics

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience within contracting work.

Good communication skills (written and oral), in English and Norwegian.
