Job summary

CHC Group Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Analyst to join our Norway finance team in Stavanger/Sola. You will ensure accurate, timely, and compliant delivery of end-to-end Norwegian payroll processes, reporting to the Senior Financial Controller, EMEA.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll experience in a medium to large organisation.
• Strong knowledge of Norwegian payroll legislation, taxation, pensions, and statutory reporting.
• Experience end-to-end payroll processing and reconciliations.
• Experience with Unit4 or similar payroll/ERP systems; Altinn reporting is desirable.
• Relevant qualification in Payroll, Accounting, or Finance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, process, and validate monthly Norwegian payroll ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Manage statutory payroll reporting and submissions through Altinn and authorities.
• Ensure compliance with Norwegian payroll legislation and collective agreements where applicable.
• Perform monthly payroll-to-general ledger reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare payroll journals and support month-end and year-end closes.
• Reconcile payroll-related balance sheet accounts and remittances.
• Maintain employee payroll master data and records accuracy.
• Support audits with documentation and reconciliations.
• Contribute to process improvements, automation, and internal controls.
