Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Solution Architect for AWS in Norway. You will own technical engagements, develop deep AWS knowledge, and guide customers and developers in building scalable cloud architectures.

You will interact with senior stakeholders and drive cloud adoption across strategic accounts in Norway. Ideal candidates will have strong customer-facing skills, proven architectural experience, and fluency in Norwegian and English.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience in infrastructure or software architecture, with knowledge in databases and networking.
• Experience in design/implementation/consulting/devops with distributed applications.
• Experience in pre-sales engineering or solutions architecture for technology/software sales.
• Fluency in Norwegian and English.
• Strong verbal and written communications across internal and external organizations.
• Extensive design/implementation/consulting/devops experience with distributed applications.

Responsibilities

• Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS, and participate in architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
• Build the technical relationship with customers and operate as their trusted advisor.
• Internally, you will be the voice of the customer, sharing their needs and wants to inform the roadmap of AWS features.
• You will participate in the creation and sharing of best practices, technical content and new reference architectures and evangelize and educate about AWS through workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, online videos or conferences.
• Contribute to the growth of the Solutions Architecture organization by hiring, coaching and mentoring others.
• Develop areas of depth in technical domains relevant to your interests and your customer's outcomes.
