Job summary

Ascensia Diabetes Care in Lysaker, Norway, seeks a Financial Accountant to lead Nordic financial reporting and statutory accounting on a hybrid basis. The role collaborates with service providers and auditors, ensuring accuracy and compliance across Norway, Denmark, Sweden, and Finland.

Reporting to the Country Finance Manager, you will drive month-end close, tax and VAT compliance, and group consolidation, with 60–100% FTE options and a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Qualifications

• Experience managing statutory accounting, financial reporting, and external audits in a multinational setting.
• Strong IFRS and local GAAP reporting knowledge.
• Experience in Norway accounting and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own accounting activities for Nordic entities (Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland).
• Ensure compliant financial reporting under IFRS and local GAAP.
• Lead statutory accounting, external audits, and regulatory filings.
