Ilara Health is seeking a Pharmaceutical Technologist to join our hospital-based pharmacy team on a Nights shift under a Locum contract. The role requires a licensed Pharmaceutical Technologist with at least 2 years of hospital or clinical experience.

You will dispense medications, manage inventory, ensure regulatory compliance, support patient service, and coordinate with clinic staff while maintaining high standards of safety and infection control during night operations.

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmaceutical Technologist with regulatory knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications per physician orders and guidelines.
• Maintain inventory levels and record transactions in HMIS/inventory system.
• Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Ensure compliance with local pharmacy regulations and quality assurance programs.
• Provide clear patient instructions and excellent customer service.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance to ensure a sanitary pharmacy environment.
• Handle billing inquiries and ensure accurate patient billing per policies.
• Assist with day-to-day administrative duties and record-keeping.
