Job summary

Dorminy Medical Center is seeking a Medical Technologist for the night shift (6pm-6am). The role performs clinical analyses, serology, microbiology, and specialized blood banking procedures to diagnose and monitor patient states.

The position requires a relevant associate degree, MT registration, and 1-3 months of on-the-job training, with BLS certification. It is a full-time, permanent clinical laboratory role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate Degree in Medical Technology or equivalent.
• Experience: Must be registered as a medical technologist in accordance with the standards of the Department of Human Resources of Georgia.
• Experience: 1-3 months of on-the-job training and experience.
• BLS Required

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical analysis, microscopic examination, serological tests, microbiological determinations, specialized blood banking procedures, hematological procedures, and other forms of testing on patient specimens for diagnosing and following abnormal or diseased states.
• May be required to work alone and make independent decisions.
• Follow policies and procedures to ensure departmental operations and participate in quality assurance activities.
