Job summary

HETHERINGTON GROUP HEALTHCARE LIMITED is seeking an enthusiastic Apprentice Pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy team in London. You will learn on the job while you work toward a Level 3 Pharmacy Technician (Integrated) Apprenticeship, gaining hands-on experience under supervision.

Working with pharmacists and staff, you will assist with dispensing, stock management, patient service, and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and dispensing of medicines under supervision.
• Receive, check and process prescriptions.
• Order, receive and manage pharmaceutical stock.
• Label, assemble and supply medicines accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals.
• Answer telephone and face-to-face enquiries appropriately.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure patient confidentiality.
• Follow pharmacy procedures, health and safety requirements, and legal regulations.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Attend off-the-job training and complete coursework towards the Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship.
