Job summary

Elastic is seeking a role focused on building scalable application networking within the Elastic Cloud. You will work on Ingress, security controls, private connectivity, and DNS management, ensuring secure and proficient interactions with Elasticsearch, Kibana, and the Elastic stack.

You will collaborate with multiple engineering teams to solve complex networking challenges and drive platform performance at scale.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience developing software in Golang with a focus on scalable networking components.
Experience with Kubernetes (Cilium, external-dns, Envoy Gateway & Crossplane) is a plus.
Knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their networking ecosystems.
Proficiency in using AI tools to improve code functionality and maintainability.
Collaborative mindset and willingness to share knowledge across teams.

Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable, robust application networking features to enhance performance.
Analyze performance metrics; conduct load testing and optimize networking features for scalability.
Identify and tackle network issues; perform root-cause analysis and document troubleshooting steps.
Collaborate with Engineering teams across Elastic to fulfill application networking requirements.
