Job summary

Sector Alarm is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our Infrastructure team and manage our enterprise network across Europe, including Oslo and Spain. The role focuses on reliability, security, and performance of LAN/WAN/WLAN, cloud networking, and firewall infrastructure.

You will collaborate with infrastructure teams, local technology teams, and vendors to drive modernization, automation, and improvements while supporting incident response and patching activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in enterprise networking environments.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Azure networking and cloud connectivity.
• Experience with firewall administration and network security technologies.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve enterprise LAN, WAN, and WLAN environments across multiple European locations.
• Manage and support Cisco network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Operate and develop Azure networking environments and connectivity between cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
• Configure, maintain, and optimize Palo Alto firewall solutions.
• Perform network troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for incidents and service disruptions.
• Configure and maintain routing and network connectivity services.
• Contribute to network automation and operational efficiency using scripting and infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Use Ansible to support configuration management and operational improvements.
• Utilize Terraform for Azure network provisioning and configuration management.
• Participate in infrastructure upgrades, modernization projects, and technology rollouts.
• Support vulnerability remediation and network patching activities.
• Contribute to incident response, service recovery, and problem management processes.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and security.
• Maintain accurate network documentation, standards, and operational procedures.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our LAN, WAN, WLAN, cloud networking, and firewall infrastructure. You will work closely with infrastructure teams, local technology teams, and external vendors to support business-critical services while contributing to network modernization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting and maintaining enterprise-scale network infrastructure.
• Experience with firewall administration and network security technologies.
