Job summary

VirtualWorks Hub is seeking a Network and Systems Administrator to maintain and update our companys network and computer systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure security and integrity of our infrastructure. You will monitor routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points, install hardware and software, back up data, and provide timely tech support to staff in a fast-paced environment.

This is a contract position located in Alta, Norway with visa sponsorship available for qualified

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols TCP/IP LAN/WAN configurations and network security principles
• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

As a Network and Systems Administrator you will be responsible for maintaining and updating our companys network and computer systems You will also be responsible for troubleshooting any technical issues that may arise as well as ensuring the security and integrity of our systems

Requirements

Preferred

• Certifications such as CCNA or MCSA
• Experience with virtualization technologies VMware
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms AWSAzure

This is a contract position located in Alta Norway

The salary for this position is 1500$ per month
