Job summary

Greenstep is seeking a NetSuite Financial Consultant to join its NetSuite Team. You will work with client teams on new implementation projects, help optimize accounting processes, and tailor NetSuite to each client’s needs while maintaining a reliable system and ensuring successful deployments.

You’ll collaborate with auditors and finance stakeholders across multi-client engagements, provide go-live support, deliver demonstrations and training, and identify opportunities for process

Qualifications

As Greenstep continues its steady growth, we are looking for an experienced NetSuite Financial Consultant to join our team. In this role, you'll work on a wide range of client projects, helping organizations develop their financial processes and get the most out of their NetSuite environment, while collaborating with a knowledgeable, supportive, and highly skilled team.

About your role as a Finance Consultant in NetSuite Team

As a NetSuite Financial Consultant, you will work as part of client teams on new customer implementation projects, a variety of projects within ongoing service engagements, and other NetSuite-related assignments. Your responsibilities will include identifying and resolving clients' technical challenges, developing solutions, and maintaining the system to ensure it continues to support the evolving needs of the client organization. While you will be solving urgent day-to-day issues, you will also have the ability to proactively identify opportunities to provide new tools and initiate discussions around process improvements tailored to each client’s business needs.

In your role as a Financial Consultant, your responsibilities will focus particularly on clients’ accounting, financial management, and reporting processes, daily finance operations, and period-end close activities. Although we work with demanding and sometimes time-sensitive matters, you will never be left to manage them alone. You will always have the support of your own team, as well as assistance from other Greenstep consultants whenever needed.

For new NetSuite implementation projects, your responsibilities will include analyzing the client’s current business processes and system landscape, and configuring and validating corresponding functionalities in NetSuite according to Greenstep's NetSuite project methodology. You will also collaborate with the wider project team to define required integrations and connections to supporting systems, validate and migrate historical data, or support clients in these activities. In addition, you will participate in system deployment activities according to the cutover plan and provide go-live support. As a Financial Consultant, you will also contribute to project planning and governance together with the client and the Project Manager.

Within ongoing service engagements, you will support clients in their daily use of NetSuite while also designing and implementing new features and enhancements. Your responsibilities include identifying new requirements arising from business growth and organizational changes, defining necessary system modifications, testing new features and solutions, delivering client demonstrations, providing user training, and supporting clients in maximizing the value of their NetSuite environment.

In addition to project work, the role includes consulting both internal and external stakeholders, supporting projects led by other teams, and resolving support requests received through our service desk.

What do we expect from our future team member?

• Extensive hands-on experience in accounting, financial processes, and financial statement preparation, combined with strong knowledge of the NetSuite platform gained through practical work experience.
• Experience collaborating with various stakeholders, such as auditors, as well as working with different financial management systems and processes, preferably in an accounting firm or multi-client environment. Experience in process development is considered an advantage.
• A relevant educational background in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, taxation, and related legislation. Knowledge of IFRS is considered an asset.
• Fluency in English. Other language skills (Swedish, Finnish, Norwegian) are seen as an advantage.
