Job summary

Clayco SEI is seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to supervise mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and elevator subcontractors on-site, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.

You will develop MEP scope documents, create bid packages early in planning, and lead subcontractor negotiations while guiding design teams and clients through scope changes and field adjustments. Travel nationwide is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• 6-10 years of experience managing MEP projects.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of architectural, structural, and civil documents.
• Understanding of building codes for MEP and life safety.
• Proficiency with Office and construction software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and elevator subcontractors on-site.
• Develop MEP scope documents and bid packages for early project planning.
• Lead subcontractor negotiations and change management.
• Coordinate with design teams and clients on scope modifications.
• Ensure work aligns with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Train and mentor junior team members; participate in OAC meetings.
