Job summary

Clayco is seeking a Project Manager to lead on-site construction projects from concept through closeout. You will work with a team to provide the best design-build solutions on projects ranging from $20 million to over $200 million, coordinating with the project superintendent, subcontractors, and owner contracts.

The role emphasizes safety, budgeting, scheduling, and cost reporting, with nationwide travel and a strong focus on delivering high-quality, on-time results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field.
• 6–10 years of construction project management experience (>$25M, design-build preferred).
• Proven safety record and commitment to quality.
• Experience with budgeting, cost reporting, and change management.
• Strong knowledge of construction practices and technologies.
• Experience leading a PM team.
• Willingness to travel for nationwide projects.

Responsibilities

• Participate with project team and preconstruction services in development of project cost controls.
• Coordinate with the project superintendent in site logistics and safety planning.
• Assist in managing subcontractors and maintaining owner contracts.
• Oversee submittals, change orders, and pay requests.
• Assist in generation of project costs and job cost reporting.
• Contribute to forecasting quarterly cost projections and schedules.
• Monitor staff training, field labor, and equipment needs.
• Support bid activities and ensure safety and quality compliance.
