Job summary

Arbeidsplassen is seeking a highly motivated Media Researcher to join our embassy team. The successful candidate will research and analyze media developments, providing insights to support diplomatic reporting and strategic communication.

You will assess media narratives across traditional, broadcast, and digital platforms, prepare analytical reports for embassy leadership, and track key journalists and opinion leaders to inform decision-making.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Relevant university degree in Journalism, Media and Communication, or a related field.

Strong analytical and research skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Norwegian and Arabic. Additional language skills are an advantage.

Experience in media analysis, journalism, research, or related fields is an advantage.

Strong understanding of digital media landscapes and information trends.

Norwegian citizenship or Permanent residency in Norway.
