Job summary

Arbeidsplassen seeks a highly motivated Translator to join its embassy team in Oslo. The successful candidate will provide translation to support the diplomatic mission, translating reports, briefings, and media releases to ensure clarity and policy execution.

You will act as the primary linguistic link between the mission and the host country, require native-level proficiency in Norwegian, Arabic and English, and have at least 3 years of translation experience, along with eligibility for

Qualifications

• Relevant university degree in Translation.
• Native-level proficiency in Norwegian, Arabic and English.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Norwegian citizenship or Permanent residency in Norway.
• Minimum 3 years of translation experience.

• Translate reports, briefings, and assessments for the embassy.
• Convert legal texts, political reports, diplomatic notes, speeches, and media releases accurately between languages.
