Job summary

Butler AS seeks a dedicated Food & Beverage Server to join our embassy team in Oslo. You will deliver professional food and beverage service, handle formal table service for official events, and oversee care of fine assets and inventory.

The role requires strong Arabic or English communication, independence, and at least 1 year of related experience. Norwegian residency is required to work in Norway.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in table service and event catering.
• Excellent communication in Arabic or English; multilingual a plus.

Food & Beverage Server

About the Position

We are seeking a highly motivated Server to join our embassy team. The successful candidate will manage the daily service, hospitality, and upkeep of the Embassy.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional food and beverage service. Prepare and serve beverages, upon request by embassy staff, officials, or visitors.
• Execute formal table service (Plated, or Buffet) for official luncheons, state dinners, and receptions.
• Oversee the care of fine assets, including the cleaning, inventory, and polishing of fine silver, crystal, porcelain, and kitchen equipment.
• Manage household inventory.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills in Arabic or English. Additional language skills are an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience in table service, coffee preparation and guest hosting.
• Norwegian citizenship or Permanent residency in Norway.
• Minimum 1 year of Experience in a related field.
