Qualifications

• No prior experience required but must have a strong interest in masonry.
• Ability to work full-time hours 40 hours per week.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Willingness to learn from experienced masons.
• Must have own visa or be eligible to work in Svalbard.

Responsibilities

• Assist in laying out and preparing construction sites
• Mix mortar and grout according to specific recipes
• Cut shape and polish bricks stones and concrete blocks
• Lay bricks and stones in specific patterns or designs
• Repair damaged brickwork or stonework
• Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate protective gear
