Job summary

PrimeEstate is seeking a skilled Mason to construct and repair walls, arches and other structures using bricks, blocks, and stones in Svalbard. You will read blueprints and ensure accurate workmanship.

This part-time, on-site role offers a monthly salary of 1,700 USD, visa sponsorship available for eligible candidates, and the chance to work independently or as part of a team in a challenging, hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mason or similar role.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow design specifications.
• Knowledge of masonry materials and techniques.
• Physical stamina for manual labor.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Lay bricks and other materials to construct or repair walls, arches, chimneys and other structures.
• Cut and shape bricks to fit spaces.
• Mix mortar or grout and spread it onto surfaces using trowels.
• Use levels, rulers, plumb bobs and other tools to ensure accuracy.
• Repair cracked bricks or other building materials.
• Follow blueprints or design specifications to ensure proper construction.
• Clean tools and equipment after use.

Job description

As a Mason you will be responsible for constructing and repairing walls floors and other structures using a variety of materials such as brick concrete blocks and stones. This position is located in the beautiful city of Svalbard and offers a competitive salary of 1700$. This is a part-time position without accommodation but with visa sponsorship available for eligible candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Lay bricks and other materials to construct or repair walls, arches, chimneys and other structures
• Cut and shape bricks to fit specific spaces
• Mix mortar or grout and spread it onto surfaces using trowels
• Use levels, rulers, plumb bobs and other tools to ensure accuracy in construction
• Repair cracked or damaged bricks or other building materials
• Follow blueprints or design specifications to ensure proper construction
• Clean tools and equipment after each use

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Mason or similar role

• Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods of time
