Job summary

DNV is seeking a commercially minded professional for its Alternative Fuels Insight team to translate developments in maritime energy markets into data-driven services and growth opportunities. You will identify needs, develop market insight and build business cases to guide product development and early revenue.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of energy markets and commercial dynamics of energy transition.
• Ability to translate opportunities into client value and business cases.
• Experience with data-driven modelling in energy, fuels or related sectors.
• Ability to translate regulatory context and market developments into viable services.
• Experience establishing data and forecasting models and translating data into insight.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret maritime energy dynamics and emerging value chains to guide priorities.
• Drive the sales funnel from market interest to close within energy markets.
• Develop market insight, customer evidence and business cases to steer product development.
• Define opportunity briefs, data models, forecasting approaches and analytical requirements.
• Validate propositions with customers and ecosystem partners, refining value and route to market.
• Build engagement with customers, partners and internal teams to create demand.
