Job summary

TechnipFMC in Kongsberg, Norway, is seeking a Quality Engineer for Manufacturing to ensure high quality from design transfer through delivery. You will independently perform QA activities within the assigned manufacturing scope and help meet contract and regulatory requirements.

The role emphasizes preventing defects, coordinating QA tasks across functions, and supporting less-experienced colleagues. Fluent Norwegian and English are expected, and experience with SAP or Teamcenter is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum five years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of QA principles and application in manufacturing.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and quality follow-up.
• Experience with inspections, non-conformance handling, and documentation.
• Ability to work independently, define priorities and follow quality activities through to completion.
• Strong cooperation and stakeholder-management skills.
• Knowledge of ISO, API and NORSOK standards.
• Proficient in Norwegian and English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Perform quality assurance activities within the assigned manufacturing product or process scope.
• Ensure contractual, internal and regulatory quality requirements are understood and verified from design transfer through delivery.
• Coordinate defined quality activities and support less-experienced colleagues.
