Job summary

TechnipFMC plc in Kongsberg, Norway, is seeking a Quality Engineer to contribute independently to maintaining high quality standards from design transfer to delivery in REMS Manufacturing. The role focuses on preventing defects and ensuring client expectations are met across the Life of Field.

You will verify contractual, internal and regulatory requirements, coordinate quality activities, and support colleagues while working within GPBMS processes and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum five years of relevant work experience.
• Good knowledge of Quality Assurance principles.
• Good understanding of Manufacturing processes and quality follow-up.
• Experience with inspections, documentation review, non-conformance handling, process verification and requirements follow-up.
• Ability to work systematically and independently, define priorities and follow quality activities through to completion.
• Good cooperation and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to coordinate activities across relevant functions.
• Experience participating in root cause analysis and following corrective actions through implementation.
• Good technical understanding and knowledge of ISO, API and NORSOK standards.
• Good verbal and written Norwegian and English skills.
• Experience with SAP and Teamcenter is an advantage.
• Knowledge of GPBMS and relevant quality procedures is an advantage.

Job Purpose

Contributes independently to setting and maintaining high quality standards and ensures that client demands and expectations are met. Focuses on preventing mistakes and defects throughout manufacturing, from design transfer to delivery and Life of Field. Conducts work in accordance with "Produce/Test Assembly" for REMS Manufacturing and the "Execute Quality", "Monitor Quality" and "Improve Quality" processes in GPBMS.
