Job summary

Linde plc in Oslo, Norway seeks a senior logistics leader to oversee Bulk and PGP distribution across Norway. You will lead the logistics organization, manage a large team, and supervise daily operations with about 40 bulk vehicles and 50 PGP trucks.

The role covers multimodal road and rail networks, safety, and cost optimization, while ensuring ADR/GDP compliance and seamless interaction with regional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s in logistics, SCM, engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years in logistics, transport, or distribution.
• Experience leading operational teams.
• Strong knowledge of transport planning & inventory management.
• Familiarity with HSE/SHEQ, ADR, GDP is a plus.

Job description

• You will lead and develop the logistics organization, with overall responsibility for Bulk and Packaged Gases and Products (PGP) distribution operations across Norway
• Manage the logistics team in Norway
• Further more oversee daily distribution operations involving approximately 40 Bulk vehicles and 50 PGP trucks
• Manage a multimodal PGP distribution network utilizing both road and rail transportation
• You will ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective transportation, fleet, and contractor management
• Lead indecent management and investigations, ensuring corrective actions and preventative measures
• Also drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, service, productivity, and cost optimization
• Ensure business continuity, manage operational risks and disruptions
• Manage logistics budgets, forecasts, and KPIs to ensure delivery of business objectives
• Further more ensure compliance with applicable safety, quality, environmental, Agreement of Dangerous goods by Road (ADR,) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP) requirements
• Collaborate closely with Operations, Sales, Procurement, SHEQ, and logistics teams across Region Europe North (REN) to drive operational excellence and best-practice sharing
• You will representLinde in local transport, contractor and regulatory interactions

What makes you great

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
• You have proven experience in logistics, transportation, distribution, fleet, and contractor management. +10 years of relevant experience is a plus
• Experience leading and developing operational teams in a dynamic environment
• Also strong knowledge of transport planning, inventory management, and supply chain optimization
• Experience managing complex distribution networks and multimodal transportation solutions
• Further more good understanding of HSE/SHEQ, ADR, and GDP requirements
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, preferably SAP
• You are fluent in English; a Scandinavian language is an advantage
