Job summary

SRM Concrete is seeking a Class A CDL Tanker Operator to safely transport cement from terminals to SRM plants, ensuring on‑time deliveries while upholding the company’s safety standards. You will perform thorough pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections and accurately complete logs and delivery paperwork in accordance with DOT regulations and SRM policies.

You’ll need a clean driving record, a valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement (endorsement not required but helpful), a current DOT Medical Card,

Qualifications

• Requires Class A CDL; tanker endorsement is helpful but not required.
• DOT regulations knowledge for material transport and safety.
• Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds and perform bending, lifting, and climbing.
• Strong communication and time management for on-time deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A tanker truck, transporting cement to SRM locations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections for safety and compliance.
• Complete logs and delivery paperwork per DOT regulations and SRM policies.
• Communicate with dispatch for delivery instructions and route updates.
• Ensure proper loading/unloading to prevent spillage or contamination.
• Follow routes, schedules, and safety procedures for material transport.
• Provide professional customer service at delivery sites and report defects or incidents promptly.
