Job summary

Statkraft, a global leader in renewable energy, is seeking a Technical Specialist to join Local Technical Support in Trondheim, Norway. You will deliver Level 2 local IT support to offices and users, working within the 24/7 Operations Centre and collaborating with global IT teams and external providers.

The role emphasizes reliable and secure IT experiences, requires Norwegian and English, travel to Statkraft locations, and a proactive, service-oriented mindset with strong communication.

Qualifications

• Experience operating Windows clients, servers, network components, printers and video conferencing systems.
• Knowledge of IT process management framework, preferably ITIL.
• Excellent communication skills in Norwegian and English – written and spoken.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly to Statkraft locations in Trondheim region and other sites.

Responsibilities

• Handle issues requiring local physical presence and be available for users needing IT support.
• Coordinate Events, Incidents, Service requests and Changes for the local IT environment.
• Provide desktop swap-out, Level 2 hardware and system software support for equipment and devices.
• Provide technical support for events such as annual meetings, board meetings, and training sessions.
• Support remote L2/L3 teams as Hand & Eye on site.
