Job summary

Statkraft is seeking an Engineer for Applications & Infrastructure Operations to join its 24/7 Operation Center in Oslo, Norway. The role focuses on monitoring, incident handling and continuous improvement of global IT services.

We require 2+ years in Level 2 IT support, Windows/server expertise, ITIL knowledge, and strong English/Norwegian communication. The position offers a demanding, dynamic environment with rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Level 2 IT Support or similar.
• Hands-on experience with the operation, monitoring, and troubleshooting of Windows clients and servers, network components, printers and video conferencing.
• Strong ITSM knowledge (ITIL) and solid stakeholder communication.
• Fluent in Norwegian and English; capable of working in a 24/7 operation.

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor IT infrastructure, applications, and services.
• Respond to alerts, incidents, changes and service requests per procedures.
• Perform first and second line troubleshooting and service restoration.
• Escalate incidents and coordinate with on‑call teams.
• Contribute to operational excellence through process improvements.
