Job summary
TechnipFMC is seeking a Service Engineer Controls Systems to support global subsea projects. You will operate and test topside and subsea control systems, install equipment, and provide onshore/offshore technical support to RLWI, IMR, WOCS, and related operations.
The role requires extensive travel, offshore/health certifications, and the ability to work in a team across international projects. This is an offshore-rotational position based in Norway.
Qualifications
- Fagbrev, technical diploma, or Bachelor's in automation, electronics, electrical, subsea, data communication or equivalent.
- Experience with control systems from subsea is an advantage.
- Experience within data electronics, hydraulics, automation or mechanics.
- Strong HSE commitment.
- Willingness to work internationally.
- Solid communication skills in Norwegian and English.
- Ability to obtain work visas internationally.
Responsibilities
- Operational support of subsea installations domestically and internationally.
- Operate topside & subsea control systems, components and instrumentations.
- Installation of subsea equipment, field control, service & operational maintenance of subsea equipment.
- Testing of equipment including inhouse testing, EFAT and system tests.
- Technical and operational support to projects onshore- and offshore.
- Production of procedures.
- Extensive travel is required to support TechnipFMC operations.
- Rotational working time schedules.
